DENSE VISION SHRINE is the Norwegian project of Karsten Hamer. Best known in the dark ambient / industrial scene as the leader of the legendary group Penitent. His music career has spanned over 12 years with such groups as Penitent, Arcane Art, Veiled Allusions, Dense Vision Shrine, Defraarktor etc. He has appeared on many different record labels such as Cold Meat Industry, Dark Vinyl, Beyond Productions, Displeased Records, Epidemie Records, Trinity Records and others. Despite Karsten´s project diversity there are two main binding characteristics to his work: darkness and abstraction. The newest release being “A Voyage of Imagination” from DENSE VISION SHRINE, coming out soon on EPIDEMIE RECORDS contains one track 62-minutes long. A tenebrous composition expanding the listener’s perception into other dimensions. The properly tuned-in and alert listeners will suddenly find themselves in altered states of consciousness.

TÁBOR RADOSTI is EPIDEMIE RECORD’S latest discovery from Jihlava, Czech Republic. This mysterious duo has been creating music over the past 10 years withdrawn in the seclusion of their private studio exploration. For a broader audience, the band performed at the X. Prague Industrial Festival to an astonished audience in December 2004. This performance could be seen as a crucial starting point of dark ambient music world opened to them from this moment. In 2005, TÁBOR RADOSTI played at several prestigious festivals, e.g. Apocalyptic Visions in Bratislava, Wroclaw Industrial Festival in Poland and appeared alongside The Living Jarboe in Prague. But primarily they spent the whole year 2005 preparing their new album “Lamat”, to be released on EPIDEMIE RECORDS in the near future. The concert premiere of this new album will be presented in Plzen and Prague. Creating a new style of post-industrial music, TÁBOR RADOSTI is an enigmatic ritual shamanistic project with excellent video presentation.

Likely the most famous acquisition by EPIDEMIE RECORDS is The Prague-based group AGHIATRIAS. After more than five years of existence, the band is widely known in the European industrial scene. Orchestral apocalyptic dark-industrial with classical choral parts by Martina Sanollová, noise samples by Tom Saivon and central parts of the compositional structures by Vladimír Hirsch. The multi-media presentation of the formation is emphasized by its video work. Regularly performing at prestigous European festivals, the forthcoming performances will be the live concert premiere of their new album “Ethos”, soon to be released on EPIDEMIE RECORDS. The fourth AGHIATRIAS conceptual album accomplishes its own concept of the integrated music that represents a confrontation in the broad dimension of contemporary classics, dark-ambient, noise and industrial music. The central motif is the refusal of a broadly accepted materialistic view of the world and its future, the demonstration of our lapse for the human condition to achieve that what transcends him.
